First of all, I want to start by saying that I am 19 years old. I first saw a casterboard when I was about 17, and i thought of them as a cool toy for kids. This past year, I started college, and my dormroom neighbor across the hall had a casterboard, a RipStik AIR to be exact. At first, I was a bit sceptical, but soon I asked him if I could take it for a test ride. After getting the hang of it, I thoroughly enjoyed it! Soon summer came, and I was unable to borrow his RipStik whenever I wanted, and was forced to buy my own. After doing a lot of research, I finally decided to go with the Wave DLX, for both its price and quality. I do not have a single regret about this purchase. It rides smoothly, carves uphill without too much effort, and on top of that, it's great excersize! However, if you are a beginner to casterboards, I would highly recommend the RipStik AIR strictly because of the fact that the casters on the board are spring-loaded, which makes the learning process much easier.

Overall this was a great investment. Like I said, I'm 19 years old, and I love this thing. I even have a 21 year old friend who asks all the time if he can ride it. Two thumbs up!

I bought this for my little bro who is 14 (we are 15 years apart). A hard age to buy for in my opinion. LOL He loved it though and took it all around my neighborhood. With the deck tape vs the rubber nubs I saw on most boards It is a much better quality than what I found in my local stores.
